The high-pitched whine of the drill cutting into my molar made it difficult to hear.
Dr Canterbury had my full attention, however, as he leaned over me, pressing with the drill. "Go to the [zzzzzzzzZZZZ] in summer, and you'll see the
Antillean [zzZZZZZzzzz]." Although I hadn't heard them, I knew what the missing words were: "Marathon Airport" and "Nighthawk." "Ugh-A," I said, as best I could with a mouth full of cotton.
